Day zero – for once we had an evening flight so day zero consisted of dinner in the airport and flight to Cairo. It’s only 4hrs 50 mins so you arrive in the middle of the night. Our escorts and Instructor George were there to meet us. We loaded up the Landcruisers and headed into the dawn.
