the age of 12 I started training martial arts. I first began to train wrestling and aikido for a couple of years, then I also started to train judo. After competing for some time I realized that I had trouble sticking to the strict rules of competing, I often became disqualified and sent out even against my older competitors. At the side of judo I started to train boxing and gave up wrestling and aikido. I got good help with my boxing training from my father, who was a member of the Hungarian boxing team and a former member of the Romanian Olympic boxing team. At the age of 16 I tried out a number of disciplines including Karate, Wing Tsun, Escrima and Kickboxing and I also competed quite a bit in karate and kickboxing. I didn't compete in boxing which was a promise that I had given to my father, although I sparred and trained with a couple of established boxers. In 1990 my friend and training partner asked me if I wanted to try out Tiger Crane Combination, which Fujian White Crane was formally known as, under Mr. Ngo. Shortly after I started to train I took a liking for the style resulting in me giving up judo and instead concentrating on FWC. My training partner and I went over to England to train and also to compete for the club. After my military service I went to Singapore where I trained for a couple of months, and also to Thailand where I trained Thai boxing for a period of time. I returned to Thailand a number of times to train and compete and also started to compete in Kung Fu in England (there where no competitions in Sweden at the time). Although my results where good, I won gold with no losses, I stopped competing for a while as I suffered some serious injuries. After not competing for three years I went up against the current Swedish champion in Thai boxing and defeated him. Over the years I have travelled almost all over Asia, Africa, West Indies etc. where I always visit clubs to train and compete, which has given me a good and varied list of qualifications. During the last couple of years I travelled a number of times to China, which has been very reward
