About the class
This class combines beginners sparring (Foundation fighting drills) with pad work (boxing with punch bags). In the sparring section you will train basic fighting principles with a partner. Pad work is mixed in with body toning and speed drills into a one-hour fat burning workout. The class is a complete exercise session including warming up, stretching and cool downs. You will find that the class has a welcoming atmosphere where everyone encourages each other to push themselves. The seniors and more experienced students are there to help the juniors grow in their abilities. Although mentally and physically tough you will be guided to progress at a rate appropriate for your present state of health and fitness. This is an excellent stress buster! I highly recommend it for those who don?t enjoy exercise and want to start a healthy life style and for those who do exercise regularly but want to develop useful fitness.

The hall is just of West-End Lane. The entrance is the Montessori School on the side of the Church on Sheriff Road. From West Hampstead tube station (Jubilee line): come out of the tube and turn left. It is a 1 min walk on the right hand side. From West Hampstead sliver link (North London Line): come out of this station and turn right. The hall is a 1min walk to the right. Classes? are a min walk from Kilburn High Road and 5min walk from Finchley Road. Classes support areas with an NW postcode.

You will learn to raise your goal posts in life as you discover you are capable of so much more. You will realise what it is like to be your ideal weight, feel fit and be strong, light and fast. You will develop the grit to keep going even when everything around you is slowing you down and trying to stop you.

Yes, anyone can join in! Complete beginners are always welcome. The class is for adults who want to wake up every morning buzzing with energy and glowing with health; those who want to be strong, stand tall, stay motivated in their work place and be a cut above the rest. The classes are for adults of any gender and size; anyone who wants a healthier lifestyle. Classes are very suitable and appropriate for women. If you have any injuries or anything else which may affect your training, it is important to discuss this with your instructor at the beginning of the class so that we can discuss the best way to work with any relevant issues. It is always possible to adapt exercises to suit individual needs.
