FWC Dulwich

About the class

The emphasis of the Kung Fu class is on strengthening your body and increasing your fitness, balance and co-ordination so that you can get your body to move effectively in a fighting situation. This is done through warming up, stretching and practising martial techniques. You don't have to be fit when you join, but you will get fit quite quickly.

What am I going to learn?

In this beginners class, particular attention will be paid to foundation training. You will work on stance, posture and the basic principles of the style to ensure that you have a good foundation to move onto more advanced classes.

So can anyone join in?

Complete beginners are always welcome. It is an adult class for which the minimum age is 13. If you have any injuries, or anything else which may affect your training, it is important to discuss this with the Instructor at the beginning of the class, and we can discuss how to work round this. It is always possible to cut certain exercises and movements out of your training to suit individual needs.

Who teaches it again?

Richard Wagstaff
